Main responsibilities:
Execution of material planning activities for all commodities.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues
Issuing POs to suppliers in a timely manner, tracking of outstanding Order Confirmations and supervision/maintenance of delivery dates in ERP-System
Creation, checking and updating of vendor, material master data and ERP parameters
Monitor inventory levels and implement measures to optimize inventory turns and reduce excess or obsolete stock
Create and share demand forecasts based on historical data to make informed decisions regarding material requirements.
Support Procurement with setting up frame contracts and Logistic Agreements
Handling of quality issues and quality improvements with suppliers including organisation of shipments of supplier returns
Checking of assessment notice of custom for imports and allocation to Purchase order
Support on supplier rating (inputs from daily business)
Development and implementation of process improvements
Creation of request for quotation and preparation of decision overviews
Supplier invoices check/reconciliation.
Customer Care: Employees in this position must prioritize customer care and maintain strong relationships with customers (internal directly and external indirectly), recognizing them as the top priority.
Required qualifications:
Proven experience as a Material Planner/Expeditor or a similar role for at least 2 years.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices in an Engineer to Order manufacturing environment (ETO).
Proficiency in using ERP/SAP R/3 or R/4 system (MUST) and proficient in MS Excel skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Fluent in English is a must

Position Type:
This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
What we offer:
The base salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
