Salary: $55,265 - $79,997/year

Job Description:

Responsible for the competitive bid process for Construction and Capital Projects for the County in addition to maintaining contracts and communications with vendors; Assists with the training of new buyers.
Develops and prepares public solicitation process from inception through contract aware and management for Construction/Capital Projects.
Advises and cooperates with County departments in the evaluation of products and services including delivery, prices and vendor reliability.
Seeks new sources of vendors for the competitive bidding process, including the searching and recruiting of Minority, Women-owned and small business.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Two years of experience in purchasing, bidding, bonding procedures and supervisory experience preferred.
Prefer experience with Workday
NIGP certification preferred.
Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
