SUMMARY OF JOB
Pre Sales Engineer supports Sales Team for tendering, technical and commercial proposal exercises of Gutor Industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solution business within MEA region. In this position, he/she will be responsible for creating, and own the technical and commercial proposals with full compliance to company regulation and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial and technical proposal preparation
Comprehensive understanding of project specifications and requirements
Prepare technical and commercials proposals that meet customers’ requirements, and according to organization’s regulation and guidelines
Ensure high quality of proposal submissions, accurate costing with optimized solutions that meet the specifications
Evaluate offer and pricing with necessary costing analysis. Identify and quantify risk and opportunities. Be the owner of the proposed solutions
Incorporate Gutor proposition values into our offers
Ensure on time tender submission
Customer Meetings
Attend technical bid clarification meetings. Drive and lead technical discussions and closure with customers
Present and qualify our proposal as the “best proposal” to solve customers’ problems
Identify and address customers’ concerns
FEED and customer support activities
Support customers with sound technical proposals during FEED stage
Spec-in and qualify Gutor solution as main design reference
Incorporate and push Gutor value proposition to our customers
Strong cooperation and collaboration with other departments
Facilitate Quote to Win process
Support project handover to execution team
Properly identify risks and opportunities, with mitigation plans
Support project manager / design engineer during project execution
