Job Description – Inside Sales Specialist, Commercial Operations 

Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) will be responsible for managing customer-facing commercial and sales activities. Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage all incoming sales inquiries by phone, email and CRM system to provide technical and sales assistance to new and existing customers and distributors 

  • Create, update, and maintain Leads and Opportunities in CRM, ensuring data accuracy 

  • Prepare, issue, and communicate quotations and manage quotation-related correspondence 

  • Facilitate all bid-related activities including document review, pricing activities, internal coordination, and submissions 

  • Process all customer request forms such as vendor applications, Non-Disclose-Agreement (NDA), etc 

  • Conduct followup calls on existing quotations / opportunities to drive closure and address customer questions 

  • Perform Terms & Conditions review prior to order processing including Credit Applications 

  • Initiate system-based tasks to Back Office for order and service processing 

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales team, channel partners, Megger manufacturing facilities, and other stakeholders 

  • Produce regular reports relating to sales, revenues, customers, etc. 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Degree / certificate in a technical field (electrical/electronic preferred) or 4+ years of industry experience in customer service or technical sales role  

  • Strong customer service and sales focus with the ability to take care of both external and internal customers  

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills 

  • Solid computer skills and experience working with CRM, quotation, and ERP systems preferably 

  • Detail oriented and well organized with strong communication skills – written and oral
