DESCRIPTION:

The Field Claims Adjuster supports the Field Supervisor staff while focusing on completing the necessary field and Xactimate training program as well as obtaining all licensing requirements.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requires extensive travel, as all field training is performed on-site at deployed events with management staff present.
  • Evolves into an inventory control role where the associate will deploy to a directed area in the country and manage a volume of claims by completing field inspections and compiling related final reports.
  • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
  • Completes follow up tasks on files.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of building nomenclature.
  • Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools and technology.
  • Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe events.
  • Effectively discover, report, and resolve issues, complaints and escalations.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Computer literate in a Windows operating environment.
  • This position requires an Insurance Adjuster's license. If you do not have, we will facilitate.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with routine and/or repetitive activities but also be responsive to disruption and change.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Must have a good driving record.

 

PREFFERED

  • College Degree
  • Prior property claims review and/or adjusting experience.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience.
  • Experience using XactAnalysis and Xactimate.
  • Active adjuster’s License.
  • Prior military experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of building nomenclature and familiarity with estimating platforms.

Salary: DOE

 

Schedule:

  • 7 days a week when deployed.
  • Monday to Friday when not deployed and working locally.

 

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • CAT pay when deployed
