Bridge CADD Technician

Our Salt Lake City office is currently seeking a full-time CADD Technician to support our Structures Bridge team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural engineering and have extensive experience designing bridges, retaining walls, etc. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who enjoys being part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of CAD drawings from sketches, specifications, and redlines.
  • Preparing drawings of structural systems
  • Experience with structural systems and Identifying dimensions, angles, materials

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of MicroStation CAD (required)
  • Bridge Drawing Preparation (required)
  • Ability to provide real solutions to meet bridge technology challenges
  • Professional approach to communication and collaboration.

Required Experience:

  • Direct experience working in structural civil design
  • Experience completing work using MicroStation CADD applications
  • UDOT Bridge Design (3+ years preferred)
  • Technician certificate (preferred)
  • Experience working on rail/highway/industrial structures preferred

Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Hourly Rate: $18 - $32/hour (Depending on Experience)
