Who we are looking for:

First Eagle is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team in our New York office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities and have the following qualifications for this role.   


What you will do:

  • Develop, automate, and maintain models and reports with accurate and timely information to enable decision support
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators; apply findings to projections for monthly forecast and annual plan
  • Develop and maintain presentations for CFO, Board meetings, ratings agencies, senior management team and others
  • Develop and maintain monthly department-level reports; assess and discuss variances with senior management
  • Partner with colleagues across the firm to identify and implement process controls, create efficiencies, and ensure data integrity
  • Support day-to-day ad hoc requests

The qualities you should have:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant financial experience working with multiple business lines, preferably in FP&A, strategy consulting, or similar finance roles
  • Experience with BI360, Alteryx, and/or Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Desire and ability to synthesize and interpret data, problem solve and make recommendations
  • Ability to reconcile and maintain multiple data sets which are essential for key reporting to senior management
  • Prepare financial reports for senior leadership on daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Advanced mastery in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with other general ledger systems and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage diverse priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Collegial and collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, keen attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Sound judgment, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on your own, and know when to escalate
  • Desire to learn in a quickly growing and fast-paced environment

Base Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
