JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This position engages patrons to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about services, programming and services provided at various Continuing Education sites. Assists with the set up and tear down for a variety of events and makes certain the necessary supplies are on hand and organized.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
• Engages patrons of various Continuing Education sites to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about services, programming and services provided.
• Retrieves, organizes, and inventories supplies.
• Assists with coordinating the details related to setting up events to ensure successful execution and appropriate tear down.
• Tracks student participation in the space.
• Assists community member, students, faculty and staff with technology.
• Consistently and dependably attends work, activities, and functions as scheduled or assigned.

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Hold a strong passion for learning.

• Skill in cooperating with others to work to the greater good toward goals of the Do Space and MCC.
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours.

• Ability to deliver service and support to end-users which may include instructors, community patrons of all ages, K-12 professionals and business/corporate entities.
• Ability to follow established procedures and processes in a professional manner.
• Ability of redirect problems to the appropriate resources.
• Ability to stay current with technologies available in the Do Space and remain current with any changes and updates.
• Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma/GED.
• A minimum of 6 months of full-time experience in customer service or technology focused employment.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.
• Must pass a background check.
