Who We Are
CardWorks, Inc. is a diversified consumer finance service provider and parent company of CardWorks Servicing, LLC, Merrick Bank and Carson Smithfield, LLC.
CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans. We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.
Merrick Bank is an FDIC-insured Utah Industrial Loan Bank. Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.
Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a highly analytical, data-driven Manager Digital Products position to measure, monitor, and optimize digital experiences across the full customer lifecycle. This role focuses on leveraging behavioral data, feature performance analysis, and advanced segmentation to understand how customers interact with digital channels from acquisition through servicing and retention.
The role partners closely with Product, Marketing, Risk, Technology, Operations, Legal & Compliance teams to deliver insights that improve customer experience, engagement, and business outcomes. By translating complex data into actionable intelligence, this position plays a critical role in enabling data-informed decisions across Merrick Bank’s digital ecosystem.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops, owns, and maintains executive- and operational-level dashboards to monitor digital experience, feature performance, and customer behavior across lifecycle stages.
Utilizes SQL and Python to manipulate large, complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Analyzes customer behavior across digital channels using Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics to identify usage patterns, drop-offs, and optimization opportunities.
Performs detailed feature-level analysis to evaluate adoption, engagement, and downstream business impact.
Designs and executes complex behavioral and lifecycle segmentation to support personalization, targeting, and strategic decision-making.
Evaluates experiments, A/B tests, and feature releases to quantify impact and inform future enhancements.
Conducts cohort, funnel, and longitudinal analyses to understand customer lifecycle behavior, performance trends, and retention dynamics.
Partners with Product and Technology teams to define measurement frameworks, tagging requirements, and success metrics for digital initiatives.
Enhances and automates reporting and dashboarding capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, and reliability.
Ensures timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of analytical insights supporting business initiatives.
Support data quality validation, vendor coordination, and analytics-related process and control activities.
Compliance with Laws & Regulations
Responsible for complying with all of the Bank’s internal control policies and procedures.
Responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations to which the Bank is subject.
Responsible for communicating problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, noncompliance with laws and regulations, policy violations, or illegal acts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-, analytics-, or digital-related field such as Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Masters degree is preferred.
Three (3+) years experience in digital analytics, behavioral analysis, or business intelligence is required.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Experience analyzing digital customer journeys, web/mobile behavior, or feature performance is required.
Experience in financial services, credit cards, or other regulated consumer environments is strongly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, behavioral analysis, and segmentation.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics (required).
Experience developing dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Sigma, or Looker.
Experience working with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong expertise in digital analytics concepts, including feature measurement, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and experimentation.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to independently solve ambiguous, complex business problems.
Strong attention to detail, data quality, and analytical rigor.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence without direct ownership.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is in an office environment, sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; works with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time.
This position interacts with multiple departments, locations, and companies within and outside the CardWorks’ organization.
