The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and attributes:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves
  • Must be a good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others
  • Physical type work is a demand
  • Must be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing workloads.
  • Capable of working flexible hours
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus


Job Duties: The following duties will vary according to the needs of the Department. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call 24 hours/7 days a week.
  • Must be able to ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by crew
  • Able to manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.
  • Must properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses ensuring the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc. is a major duty
  • Must be able to complete schedules and service reports.
  • Must be able to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
  • Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
  • Health & Safety of employees is a major part of job duties.
