Wilson & Company is seeking a Senior Pursuit Specialist to support our disciplined and intentional focus on winning work. This position manages all phases of the company’s pursuit process and lead the creation of quality proposals, presentations, and other pursuit materials. You will own and lead multi-disciplined teams in developing and executing winning strategies from opportunity identification through proposal submission and award, including complex Alternative Delivery pursuits. This role requires a dynamic and strategic thinker with a proven track record in capture management and business development in the A&E industry, capable of leading integrated teams, shaping solution-driven strategies, and navigating best-value procurement environments.
Key Responsibilities
Following Wilson & Company’s pursuit development process, using a consistent set of pursuit tools, and applying best practice/issue, solution, benefit, proof (ISBP) principles, take full ownership and leadership of pursuit team efforts to develop proposals, presentations, and supporting materials and campaigns; facilitate strategy discussions; and deliver compliant, clear, and compelling pursuits. Specific tasks include:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related major, plus 10 years of experience within the firm or in a similar technical/marketing environment. Without a degree, 15 years of relevant experience is required in addition to appropriate knowledge and skills leading proposals in the industry.
Complete understanding of the pursuit lifecycle and demonstrated success in leading large-scale pursuits and winning significant projects. Strong understanding of the A&E market, trends, and client needs. Has excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills and a strong command of the English language. Requires the ability to think strategically, solve problems, and collaboratively lead cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for proposal preparation. Ability to write, edit and proofread moderately complex materials and apply standard brand guidelines.

Annual Salary Range or Hourly Rate: $66,000 - $80,000 (Depending on Experience)
