Job Description Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance candidate with a strong knowledge of the related field and excellent communication skills. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of maintenance mechanics in the areas of manufacturing equipment and repair, as well as facility maintenance and repair.

Job Description:

  • Perform preventive maintenance functions, including inspection, lubrication, and adjustments.
  • Facilitates a preventive maintenance program.
  • Performs equipment maintenance, including breakdown and repair of equipment.
  • Purchases necessary maintenance supplies.
  • Strictly adheres to all safety programs and policies.
  • Operate feed processing equipment.
  • To document all activities in report form as directed.
  • To help facilitate the highest level of biosecurity at the feed processing facility.
  • Perform daily boiler maintenance.
  • Work with the Fiix program.
  • Warehouse stocking and inventory.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Industrial maintenance experience.
  • Industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Team-oriented worker.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience in feed, Grain Handling, or Food Processing is desired.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimum instruction
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and follow task-specific instructions,
  • such as Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
  • Must be a team player with strong verbal skills and a positive attitude.
