Are you interested in getting paid to help set audio/video for the various clubs and organizations you
are already a part of or are interested in learning about? In this position, you will also be considered
a tier-one help desk technician which is a valuable resume builder for anyone looking to be in the
IT/AV field associated with tech and customer service. Most of your time will be spent in the office
answering the helpline calls or going in person for classroom assistance. You may also be deployed
for event set-ups and breakdowns. There is also some partial downtime in between that many of our
students use to catch up on work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan and perform multiple time-critical tasks with little or no individual supervision

· Manage new technology and equipment

· Work with a close-knit team to provide support for campus technology

· General office work including answering phones, creating documentation, and producing

videos.

· Setup audiovisual equipment (projectors, LCDs, portable sound systems, and laptops)

· Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems. Provide desktop support.

· Assist full-time staff with all related duties

· Coordinate delivery, setup, operation, and retrieval of equipment for various locations on

campus.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

· Ability to work independently after the training period

· Some technical aptitude

· Ability to learn how to set up, operate, and troubleshoot procedures for audiovisual

equipment

· Must be able to negotiate stairs carrying 25 lbs.
