The Department of Biology seeks a biochemist with demonstrated excellence in innovative undergraduate teaching and mentoring, fostering an inclusive and equitable classroom and work environment. This position is a part-time position needed to teach an in-person, upper-level biochemistry course on our main campus for the spring 2026 semester.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

· Teach undergraduate upper-level biochemistry to biology majors and pre-health majors.

·  Regular, predictable attendance on campus 

·  Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap

·  Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned

Education and Experience:  

• Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Biochemistry or a closely related field. 

• Experience with learning management systems (i.e., Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia, and other e-learning tools is preferred.
