Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and conducting team practices, competitions, and conditioning sessions.

Contribute to the development and execution of game strategies and scouting reports.

Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes consistent with college admissions standards and program needs.

Mentor and support student-athletes in academic, athletic, and personal development.

Assist in monitoring student-athlete eligibility, academic progress, and adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Support travel planning, equipment management, and budget tracking as assigned.

Participate in community engagement, fundraising, and promotional activities for the softball program and athletic department.

Maintain a safe and positive environment that supports diversity, sportsmanship, and ethical conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience in softball at the collegiate or competitive club level.

• Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals, techniques, and NCAA rules.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Commitment to student-athlete success both on and off the field.
