Job Summary
Provide professional protection and operational security support. This highly visible role ensures the safety and security of members on campus. The incumbent will also provide security and operational support at various university events. The position will be responsible for security planning, protective coverage, transportation, and dignitary logistics at a range of university engagements, in coordination with University Police and the President’s Office Staff.
In addition, this University Police Officer will investigate crimes and administrative complaints as directed by the Lt. commander of criminal investigations and public information. This will require the review of cases, surveillance and reports. The position requires the ability to communicate crime prevention and community policing strategies and provide guidance to executive units.
Authority and Accountability
This position is non-supervisory. It reports to the CID LT and directly interacts with the Presidents Office.

The position is a Contingent II, full-time, non-exempt position.
