We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer 

to join R&D at the Ponsse Group

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design fuel tanks and hydraulic oil reservoirs for forest machines. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise both in theory and in practice while working with the latest technologies in the field. You will be part of a product development team and work in close collaboration with specialists in hydraulics, powertrain and electrical design, as well as with various internal stakeholders and component suppliers.

We are looking for a candidate who already has some experience in mechanical or structural design related to mobile machinery, vehicles, or similar products, gained through studies or work experience. You are motivated to further develop your expertise and actively learn new skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop professionally in a dynamic and hands-on working environment.

You are the person we are looking for if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• A strong interest and proactive working approach, especially in mechanical and structural design
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English

Your primary work location will be Vieremä, and the role allows for partial remote work.
