Pay Range:

The anticipated temporary assignment duration is 3 months.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors. This role involves conducting risk assessments, inspections, training sessions, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
About the Role:
Join our team as a Health and Safety Specialist and take the initiative in fully establishing and promoting a safe and healthy work environment within a life science medical device manufacturing facility. This role provides an excellent opportunity to implement industrial safety practices, ensure compliance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act, and enforce safety standards relevant to medical device production, including handling of specialized machinery, cleanroom protocols, and chemical safety.
