Job Summary:
Provides professional skin care treatments and services, educates patients on proper skin care techniques, and recommends appropriate treatments to enhance overall skin health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and a passion about helping people look and feel their best.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares patients and treatment rooms for aesthetic procedures, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
Conducts patient consultations, assesses skin conditions, and recommends personalized treatment plans and products.
Educates patients on pre- and post-treatment care, proper skin care routines, and product usage.
Performs a variety of aesthetic services, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, and cosmetic laser treatments.
Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.
Documents consents, treatment notes, and maintains accurate patient records.
Manages patient communications, including returning calls, triaging inquiries, and handling check-in/check-out processes.
Maintains inventory and restock treatment rooms with medical supplies, educational materials, and pharmaceuticals.
Upholds HIPAA compliance and practice-specific confidentiality guidelines.
Participates in ongoing training, continuing education, and marketing events to stay current with industry trends.
Reports patient reactions or concerns to management.
Performs other medical and office tasks as needed.

Position Requirements:
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
Education
High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Esthetician - Licensed Esthetician through the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology required within 90 days of employment in the position
