Job Summary:

Provides professional skin care treatments and services, educates patients on proper skin care techniques, and recommends appropriate treatments to enhance overall skin health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and a passion about helping people look and feel their best.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients and treatment rooms for aesthetic procedures, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

• Conducts patient consultations, assesses skin conditions, and recommends personalized treatment plans and products.

• Educates patients on pre- and post-treatment care, proper skin care routines, and product usage.

• Performs a variety of aesthetic services, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, and cosmetic laser treatments.

• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.

• Documents consents, treatment notes, and maintains accurate patient records.

• Manages patient communications, including returning calls, triaging inquiries, and handling check-in/check-out processes.

• Maintains inventory and restock treatment rooms with medical supplies, educational materials, and pharmaceuticals.

• Upholds HIPAA compliance and practice-specific confidentiality guidelines.

• Participates in ongoing training, continuing education, and marketing events to stay current with industry trends.

• Reports patient reactions or concerns to management.

• Performs other medical and office tasks as needed.

Position Requirements:

Work Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required

 Education

• High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Esthetician - Licensed Esthetician through the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology required within 90 days of employment in the position
