Pay Rate: $17.75/hr

Pay Frequency: Weekly – Direct Deposit

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports daily operations at the facility by leading a team focused on cleanliness, professionalism, and resident‑centered service. This role oversees staff performance, conducts quality inspections, reinforces NEXDINE standards, and ensures all cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and uniform expectations are consistently met. The supervisor provides hands‑on leadership, supports training, and helps maintain a positive, accountable team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning duties alongside the team, ensuring all resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces meet NEXDINE standards.

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to housekeeping staff during all shifts.

  • Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures.

  • Train new and existing team members on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and uniform standards.

  • Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and daily workflow to maintain efficient operations.

  • Address performance issues promptly and help build a positive, accountable team culture.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, nursing, and other departments to support service needs.

  • Ensure proper use and care of equipment, supplies, and chemicals.

  • Support special projects, deep cleans, and emergency cleaning needs as required.

Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and resident‑centered service.

  • Ability to train, motivate, and guide staff in a fast‑paced environment.

Role Type This is a working supervisor position — the supervisor is expected to be actively involved in daily cleaning tasks while leading the team.
