What You Will Do: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our metal fabrication processes on our industrial floor. Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and minor electrical components of our machinery. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure our equipment operates smoothly. Details: Looking for 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanics only.

• 2nd shift - Monday to Friday: 2:30pm-10:30pm or 3pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment and high-tech metal fabrication processes.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of machinery used in metal fabrication.

• Create new or replacement parts using existing fabrication equipment.

• Use maintenance software to prioritize tasks and record results.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area through daily preventive maintenance and housekeeping (5S).

• Safely operate material handling equipment as needed.​

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.

• At least two years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours daily.

• Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Basic computer skills for using maintenance software.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Background in Maintenance Technician for Industrial Manufacturing

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour work shift.  Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a busy work environment for up to an 8-hour work shift. Climb a ladder and/ or scaffolding frequently during an 8-hour work shift. Stand for up to an 8-hour work shift. Grip, manipulate, and hold small parts with fingers.  Hear different types of sound/decibels/tone such as alarms, sirens, and/or mechanical equipment. See without visual impairments (depth, peripheral, color and acuity 20/40 or better).

An additional shift premium of $2.00/hour applies for 2nd and 3rd shift.
