Tutor Perini is the general contractor for the HART City Center Guideway and Stations project. The scope of the approximately $1.66 billion contract includes the design and construction of six rail stations and approximately three miles of elevated rail guideway beginning just east of the Middle Street Transit Center Station and ending at the Civic Center Station, which will be located just east of the intersection of Halekauwila Street and South Street in downtown Honolulu. Project design is expected to begin immediately while construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025. Construction of this segment is expected to be substantially completed in 2030.

DESCRIPTION:
As a Office Engineer at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate with subcontractors on advanced material acquisitions and pre-construction deliverables
Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and draft contracts to meet project requirements.
Prepare, update, and distribute work activity schedules/updates, and communicates across discipline groups and agencies to ensure proper advance notifications and coordination of start times.
Assist with subcontract administration and permanent material suppliers through monitoring of correspondence, submittals, RFI's, and performance records; an maintaining accurate payment records.
Assist in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments, schedule updates, and problem/issue tracking and resolution. Provides accurate and factual assessments of project performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or similar, from an accredited institution
3 or more years of construction experience
Experience calculating quantities and performing takeoffs
Project controls techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating, forecasting, and contracts)
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in structural analysis preferred
