The Construction Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all construction works on hyperscale data centre projects meet required quality standards, design specifications, and contractual requirements.

The role provides independent quality assurance across CSA and MEP works, working closely with contractors, designers, and commissioning teams to ensure a “right first time” delivery approach and smooth handover to operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Management

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Management Plan (QMP)

• Define inspection, testing, and acceptance criteria

• Promote a strong quality culture across all contractors

Construction Phase Oversight

• Conduct site inspections and quality audits (CSA, MEP, specialist systems)

• Review contractor ITPs and quality documentation

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards

• Manage NCRs and ensure corrective actions are closed out

Commissioning & Handover

• Support commissioning readiness and system turnover

• Ensure completion of all quality documentation (as-builts, test records, certificates)

• Support snagging and final handover to operations

Reporting & Coordination

• Produce quality reports, dashboards, and NCR tracking

• Attend site and project meetings

• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and commissioning teams

Continuous Improvement

• Identify lessons learned and drive quality improvements

• Promote best practice across data centre projects

Requirements

• 8–10 years’ experience in construction quality roles

• Strong background in data centres, mission-critical, or complex industrial projects

• Good knowledge of CSA and MEP systems

• Experience with QA/QC, NCR management, and site inspections

• Degree in Engineering or Construction-related field

• ISO 9001 knowledge (advantage)

• Fluent in German and English
