General Summary

• The Finance Information Systems Analyst provides support and training for the primary information system(s) used by the finance's functional areas, with a focus and specialization in Workday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and administers business process and workflows within Workday finance areas to meet current and emergent needs for the organization, monitor risks, and look for improvement opportunities.

• Performs system integrity checks and verifications of business processes in Workday finance applications for accuracy and compliance with internal and third-party reporting requirements.

• Works jointly with other departments within the organization to ensure accuracy and compatibility of interconnected integrations and business processes.

• Reviews and updates Workday operational guides and training materials and provides instructional assistance on a periodic basis as necessary.

• Provides additional support to other functional areas within the department if necessary for essential operations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any field required (any accounting / business focus preferred)

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, or Accrual Accounting. Experience with Workday preferred.

Mental/Physical Requirements

• Considerable mental concentration on largely repetitive operations for long periods of time required to complete duties. Work is primarily sedentary with extensive use of a computer
