Position Summary
Responsible for system wide leadership, compliance and safety, budget management, project management, collaboration, innovation, training and education, and quality assurance in Design and Construction, Facilities Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Auto Fleet Management, Disaster and Recovery Planning, and Security.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, industrial, electrical engineering or related field.
Master’s degree preferred in lieu of 20+ years of experience in healthcare related field experience
Licenses and Certification
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification or field related certifications.
Experience and Skills
Technical Experience: 10 years in Healthcare Facilities or healthcare related field
Supervisory Experience: 5 years
Strong Leadership, communication, and project management skills, Expertise in regulatory compliance and budget management.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Provides leadership for engineering, safety management, and design/construction.
Plan, directs and controls maintenance and construction projects in alignment with capital planning
Continuously collaborate with C-Suite for strategic building infrastructure budgeting and maintenance cost planning.
Provide consultation to SIH departments related to facilities management, safety, design and construction, and Code compliance.
Provides accurate interpretation of applicable codes and standards.
Provides leadership with updates of all projects relating to facilities engineering, clinical engineering and design and construction.
Works with Finance to ensure 5-year capital plan is accurate from both a dollar and timing perspective.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
