Your opportunity:

As a Maintenance Materials Specialist I for Greenheck Group you will support maintenance objectives by ensuring on-time shipping and timely distribution of materials/parts to maintenance areas across the organization, coordinating with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve material issues, and executing the receipt of purchased and manufactured parts and materials.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate with maintenance, purchasing, production, and suppliers to identify and resolve key material issues preventing effective equipment repairs or preventive maintenance.

  • Ensure the availability to maintenance operations of parts and materials to ensure equipment downtime is minimized and production delays do not occur through organized stocking, labeling, and proper inventory relief of purchased and manufactured parts.

  • Coordinate and execute cycle counting activities and resolve discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with maintenance, purchasing, production, and suppliers to identify and resolve key material issues preventing effective equipment repairs or preventive maintenance.

  • Determine optimum locations for inventory and oversee the physical storage activities while maintaining company safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Coordinate stocking requirements with material specialists at other campus facilities as well as purchasing team.

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy and timely receipts of inventory, manufactured and purchased parts.

  • Resolve quality issues involving parts and materials.

  • Identify and work with other departments to set up inventory related master data of new parts.

  • Lead and implement inventory reduction projects.

  • May develop, maintain, and distribute various inventory level reports.

  • Update and maintain equipment bills of materials with new parts and transferring of parts from storeroom to storeroom.

  • Monitor total maintenance inventory levels, implement inventory reductions/additions and drive other inventory strategies which support Maintenance Excellence’s goal to have the right part, at the right place, at the right time.

  • Work with material handlers to assist in resolving questions to allow for the timely entry of purchased and manufactured receipts.

What you should have:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in materials/inventory management required.

  • 2 Year / associate degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.

  • APICS Certification preferred.

  • This is an on-site role for our Tulsa, OK location.

  • Minimum travel is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.  Work may be performed in company’s setting, home, or hybrid.
