ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform comprehensive electronic circuit board repairs.
2. Perform all aspects of monitor repair.
3. Assist in the coordination, and performs any machine moves, modifications, and conversions.
4. Responsible for the initial set-up of all new slot machines and peripheral equipment.
5. Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times.
6. Superior soldering skills.
7. Coordinate the installation and maintenance of all progressive equipment.
8. Assist the Slot Technical Shift Manager in the coordination and implementation of all gaming inspections.
9. Utilize all resources available to address any technical issues beyond the scope of position.
10. Ability to construct any needed test equipment that may be necessary.
11. Assist in the development of subordinate level Technicians, and in the development of new methods & techniques for training manuals.
12. Perform any duty within the scope of Slot Technician/Senior Slot Technician responsibilities.
13. Assist in maintaining parts inventory under the direction of the Slot Technical Shift Manager.
14. Assist the Finance department by maintaining and repairing currency and currency related equipment.
15. Notify the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
16. Track and record all finance equipment repairs/maintenance on equipment tracking log sheet.
17. Provide report to the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of any parts or supplies needed to maintain and/or repair finance equipment.
18. Assist the Table Games department by maintaining and repairing any Table Games’ electronic equipment as requested.
19. Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position.
20. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
21. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
22. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
23. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
24. Attend all necessary meetings.
25. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
ADDITIONAL SECONDARY POSITION DUTIES:
1. Lead staff in safeguarding of slot machines: maintains slot repair parts cart and inventories; Inventory Replacement Log; and maintains secure key controls and ensures that machines are in a secure and locked state.
2. Provide technical direction to co-workers with regard to troubleshooting of equipment and records appropriate information on the Machine Access Log.
3. Prepare requisitions for parts, tools, equipment, etc. and forwards to supervisor for approval.
4. Conduct daily inspections of machines and equipment.
5. Lead and coordinate the movement of slot machines as required or requested.
6. Maintain alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and a general awareness of casino operations at all times.
7. Take appropriate action based on observations, as directed or established by casino policy, procedures or gaming rules and regulations and informs supervisor of any concerns.
8. Train co-workers to perform machine conversions as required or requested.
9. Train co-workers to adjust and align machines, to repair problems on the spot, or remove and replace suspect bad components for later repair in the lab.
10. Responsible for the communicating to the Slot Technical Shift Manager the need for parts, supplies, forms and other required equipment for the efficient operation of the department.
11. Maintain all necessary and required inventory sheets, log reports, appraisals.
12. Perform other duties, including special projects, as needed or directed.
13. Must have a thorough understanding and be able to install, repair and maintain casino Player Tracking System equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3. Associates Degree or Certification in electronics from a credited school.
4. Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Slot Technician in a licensed jurisdiction.
5. Candidate must complete the internal testing and evaluation process of the approved SGC Slot Technical training program.
6. Exhibits superior communication skills.
7. Demonstrates basic management skills along with experience in providing training, technical direction and guidance to co-workers.
8. Experience in performing “bench level” electronic work.
9. Ability to perform various mathematical functions with regards to computing slot machines percentages and progressive calculations.

1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

3. Must be capable of using various electronic test equipment and power tools
4. The Employee must frequently lift and/or move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
5. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
6. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
