Job Description:

Job Overview

The McEachern Art Center is hiring gallery curators for the 2025-2026 school year. Curators will oversee the MAC during open gallery hours, guide tours to guests, and maintain a safe and clean environment during hours of operation.

Gallery Curator Tasks

-Report to the MAC director monthly

-Guide gallery tours

-Keep the gallery organized and clean

-Ensuring the alarm system is set and doors are locked at the end of every shift

-This position is located at the McEachern Gallery (332 2nd Street) downtown Macon, approximately 2 miles from main campus. Student must have ability to work off campus.

-10 an Hour

Schedule

-The gallery curator shifts will occur during open hours on Thursday through Saturday from 4-8pm. Based on the number of curators hired, number of shifts may vary per week.
