The position is a 10 month position, includes a full tuition waiver for the M.Ed Higher Education Leadership program, and a $11,000 stipend paid monthly. There is also an opportunity to have housing provided with this role if approved by Housing and Residence Life. Professional Development funding is also available.
Offers for this position must be made in conjunction with acceptance into the M.Ed Higher Education Leadership program.
The Graduate Assistant will report to the Associate Director of RSW and serve as a mentor and leader to all undergraduate student staff and assist with the Recreational Sports & Wellness department on the day to day operations. Overall, the Graduate Assistant will be providing the Mercer University students, faculty, and staff with a positive, fun, healthy, and competitive recreational sports activities and programs. A majority of his/her responsibilities will pertain to the Intramural Sports and Club Sports programs, but may have other tasks in other programs (Fitness, Aquatics, and Outdoor Activities).
