Modivcare is looking for an experienced Senior Director – Transportation Provider Network to join our team. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation provider (TP) network operations, including development, contracting, credentialing, onboarding, and readiness. The Senior Director will drive national consistency, market responsiveness, and regulatory compliance across a distributed provider base, while ensuring the delivery of safe, accessible, and high-performing transportation services.
Transportation Provider Development and Management
Oversees regional TP leaders to ensure provider coverage and performance across all markets.
Directs strategies for provider recruitment, retention, performance monitoring, and alignment of capacity with market needs.
Establishes and monitors KPIs that reflect network health and long-term sustainability.
Credentialing and Virtual Inspections
Leads the credentialing strategy and operations, including initial approval, recredentialing, documentation compliance, and audit readiness.
Oversees the virtual vehicle inspection function and team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and policy compliance.
Partners with Compliance to mitigate risk and ensure audit preparedness in alignment with federal, state, and ADA standards.
Centralized Contracting
Collaborates with Legal, Finance, and operational leaders to develop centralized TP contracting frameworks.
Leads the creation of a centralized contracting team to harmonize terms, SLAs, and enforcement across regions.
TP-Facing Operational Readiness
Manages provider onboarding, training, and readiness processes.
Coordinates with field enablement and implementation teams to ensure smooth transitions and TP engagement aligned with operational leadership.
Leadership and Oversight
Builds and leads a high-performing team through coaching, talent development, and inclusive leadership.
Leads with a data-informed, value-driven approach to support transparency and cross-functional collaboration.
Oversees departmental budgeting and ensures efficient resource allocation aligned with strategic goals.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
Twelve (12) plus years of experience in transportation, operations, or healthcare network management.
Eight (8) plus years of senior leadership experience, including multi-team oversight and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
Experience working within ADA compliance frameworks and regulated provider networks.
Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Expert knowledge of transportation network operations, regulatory environments (e.g., ADA, Medicaid), and vendor management.
Proven ability to lead multi-region operational functions within a matrixed organization.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Salary: $159,900 - $215,900
Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
