Modivcare is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer Lead to join our team. This position is responsible for fortifying our organization's data, systems, and networks. The role involves leading strategic cybersecurity initiatives, implementing advanced security measures, and managing ongoing security operations. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally, drive risk mitigation strategies, and ensure the resilience of organizational infrastructure.
Provides strategic leadership for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develops and maintains a forward-looking cybersecurity roadmap.
Oversees the development and enforcement of enterprise-wide security policies and procedures.
Acts as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity incidents, coordinating executive-level response and remediation.
Partners with executive leadership to ensure cybersecurity strategies support business objectives.
Leads and mentors the cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Enhances cybersecurity communication and reporting to executive leadership.
May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Occasional business travel may be required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
Ten (10) plus years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven record of leadership.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) certifications are a plus.
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Deep expertise in security architecture, risk management, and compliance.
Advanced knowledge of security technologies and practices.
Experience with cloud security and virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Salary: $116,700 - $160,400
Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
