The Senior Manager, Tax & Treasury reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This role offers a hybrid schedule, onsite 3+ days per week, and is based out of our Santa Ana, CA headquarters.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead all aspects of tax operations, including compliance, ASC 740 tax provision, and strategic planning across federal, state and international jurisdictions.

  • Partner with external firms on compliance, audits, and all other tax related initiatives.

  • Oversee sales and use tax, property tax compliance, and integrations of tax processes with ERP systems (NetSuite and Avalara).

  • Assist with the forecasting of cash tax payments given various assumptions.

  • Assist with tax planning on M&A and other transactions (in consultation with internal Corp Dev and external advisors).

  • Maintain and update appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with international jurisdictions including transfer pricing, management fees and royalty agreements.

  • Manage daily cash inflows and outflows, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring sufficient funds for payments.

  • Monitor and manage short-term cash investment opportunities in alignment with company strategy.

  • Oversee repatriation of cash from international locations and manage inter company settlement of fees including transfer pricing, management fees and royalties.

  • Monitor banking fees and ensure the best deals for the company.


Who you are:

  • CPA or MST (Master’s in Taxation) preferred; JD/LLM in Taxation a plus

  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant tax experience, including both domestic and international taxation

  • Strong background in U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance and planning

  • Experience with international tax matters, including foreign entity reporting, transfer pricing, and tax structuring

  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing income tax provisions under ASC 740 for audited financial statements

  • Familiarity with indirect tax (sales/use tax, VAT/GST, etc.) compliance, strategy, and audit defense

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage all aspects of tax compliance, planning, audits, and reporting

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and external advisors

  • Experience with cross-border operations is highly desirable

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a hands-on and proactive approach

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $170,000-$200,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
