Courier

Job Description

Courier delivers home infusion supplies and medications. Also, delivers medication from Prairie Medical Pharmacy to patients over a large area. Courier will be on call for 24 hour periods over 1 to 2 weeks per month.

Department: Prairie Medical Pharmacy
Hours: PRN - As needed - 24 hour periods over 1 to 2 weeks per month.

Required: Valid IL Driver's License and High School Diploma

Pay: Based on experience, starting at $16.14

Responsibilities

Deliver supplies, reports, forms, mail, instruments and other specified items to the clients from Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System.  , Develop close relationships with clients and pass information to the lab as deemed necessary for client-lab relations.  , Drive a courier vehicle in a safe, but timely manner to locations assigned on time schedule.  , Maintain a collaborative framework for SBL and medical community to provide services to the patient population.  , Maintain proper operating conditions for courier vehicles and assure timely maintenance or repairs are performed., Records daily specimen pick up information using the Outreach Operations Application via OPS Handheld Devices, Utilize proper containers and preservatives for specimen transfer to the hospital laboratory.
