Assist in the design & implementation of all physical training for our Varsity sports. Support the mission of the University & Dept. of Intercollegiate Athletics while upholding the regulations/rules established by NCAA & Conference affiliations.Job Description
Essential Duties
Design, implement & manage all aspects of a strength & Conditioning program for assigned teams (55%)
Assist with management of Strength Facilities (cleanliness, equipment upkeep, nutritional resources & storage) (15%)
Assist with the Teams scheduling of all facilities used for physical development (5%)
Coordinate the hiring, curriculum & daily duties for Interns (15%)
Engaged in athletic department activities, service on/in committees & meetings (5%)
Assist with KNH setup for annual testing of our student Athletes (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Exercise/Sports Science(s) or related fields; 1-3 years of experience in strength and conditioning or related field; NSCA (CSCS) or CSCCa (SCCC), CPR-AED required. Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience providing the knowledge/skills/abilities listed above may be substituted. Experience in these knowledge/skills/abilities may be earned concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree; FMS certification preferred.
