Position Summary
•Responsible for the coordination, preparation, and compilation of statistical and financial data of various SIH business activities, operations, and services.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Licenses and Certification
•Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) preferred
Experience and Skills
•Technical Experience: 6 years
•Healthcare experience preferred
Role Specific Responsibilities
•Ensures continuity of productivity monitoring and reporting system by managing data input from various sources, verifying data is properly loaded and accurate, and reports are distributed on a timely basis.
•Assists in the preparation and compilation of statistical and financial budgets and forecasts for operations for SIH and all its divisions.
•Perform selected financial analysis projects as requested by the System Director of Finance.
•Assist others in preparation, development, and monitoring of business plans, ROIs, Certificate of Need Applications, decision support analyses, and other items as needed.
•Supports the corporate Patient Support Initiative program by verifying patient data submitted by participating physician providers, validating third party payment rates, and processing requests for payments.
•Coordinate, prepare, and compile statistical and financial data and distribute reports as appropriate of various system business activities, operations, and services.
•Designs, compiles, and monitors the accounting and reporting of results of selected service lines and/or joint ventures.
•Provides support to the SIMS Director of Finance and other Financial Analyst as needed.
•Consults with department directors to identify and control departmental variances.
•Reviews monthly financial performance and identify and communicate budget and productivity variances.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
