Plant Operations Specialist

Job Description

The Plant Operations Specialist provides broad exposure to Plant Operations, Environmental Services (EVS), Laundry, and Security at Fayette County Hospital. The role is designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of each department’s functions, workflows, and regulatory requirements and provide support to those departments.  Assist with essential operational tasks to ensure the facility runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all applicable agencies and standards. This position plays a key supporting role in maintaining smooth daily operations across multiple service areas.

Monday - Friday

Pay based on experience starting at $25.08

Responsibilities

Assists with Medisis Remote Control Software., Attend continuing education programs for new and evolving technologies., Coordinates Key Stone System., Distributes and tracks CMS / Preventative Maintenance requests., Maintains inventory and replaces stock of standard replacement parts by requesting orders through the Director of Plant Operations., Maintains low voltage equipment., Oversees Life Safety requirements., Oversight of facility security equipment., Run cable for data, phones, computers and phone lines and patches to main panels., Tracks projects and documents status.
