Working in conjunction with the Office of the Provost and the Office of Admission, this position directs university transfer initiatives across all campuses, including Miami Online, by establishing and maintaining: transfer pathways and articulation agreements with external partners, credit for prior learning assessment structures, and Ohio Department of Education (ODHE) regulation alignment regarding external credit (like OT36, TAG, CTAG, etc.). As part of a cross-functional leadership group, this role will help advance the university’s mission of increasing access, academic mobility, and student success for transfer, adult, and nontraditional students. This role requires a high degree of professional presence and the ability to communicate with confidence and clarity when engaging with senior-level administrators and executive leadership, both internally and across external partner institutions. To accomplish this, the individual in this position will need to collaborate both internally and externally. Within the university they will work across academic and administrative units, including: the Bursar’s Office; Student Financial Aid; EMSS Research and Analytics; and divisional academic advising offices. Externally, they will work with peers at other institutions of higher education on program pathways, serve as a representative in state and national networks focused on transfer policy and innovation, and help coordinate regional transfer summits.Job Description
