The Remote Transportation Coordinator for the Copart Delivered buyer delivery program is has a key role at Copart, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and carrier support. This position requires a thorough understanding of Copart's practices and processes to offer effective solutions and facilitate a unique customer service experience. The Transportation Coordinator will focus on understanding client needs, offering appropriate solutions and support, and managing inquiries from our members and carriers to support nationwide vehicle deliveries for Copart Delivered .
· Member Interaction & Support:
· Answer and place calls in a highly professional and courteous manner.
· Actively listen to member inquiries to understand their needs and concerns fully.
· Troubleshoot pick-up/delivery issues directly with members.
· Provide clear, concise, and accurate information regarding Copart’s services, auction processes, vehicle information, timelines, and delivery policies.
· Focus on first-call resolution by utilizing company resources, internal knowledge bases, and systems to gather information and offer effective solutions.
· Transportation Logistics Coordination:
· Assign and monitor progress of transportation orders.
· Enforce pick-up/delivery ETAs to ensure timely delivery.
· Troubleshoot pick-up/delivery issues directly with vendors/drivers.
· Negotiate transport rates within approved guidelines.
· Provide basic carrier payment support.
· Support vendor onboarding/training.
· Document and track transportation inquiries and resolutions within Copart systems.
· Problem Resolution & Escalation:
· Identify and troubleshoot member/carrier issues, aiming for satisfactory and timely resolution.
· Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or senior team members/supervisor when necessary, ensuring follow-through.
· Product & Process Knowledge:
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Copart's auction platform, vehicle types, lot details, and operational workflows.
· Stay updated on changes in Copart practices, policies, and service offerings.
· Performance & Quality:
· Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call quality (assessed by knowledge, level of professionalism, and efficiency), call times, and customer satisfaction.
· Administrative & Other Duties:
· Accurately document all member/carrier interactions and transactions in the relevant Copart systems.
· May be required to handle member/carrier support via chat and email channels.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
· Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
· Experience in the auto transport/dispatch industry.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· High level of professionalism, patience, and empathy when dealing with members.
· Computer proficiency, experience with CRM software, and other relevant office technology.
· Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
· Ability to occasionally meet/work in person at a Copart Facility.
Pay $24.60 - $27.53 per hour
