Physician ServicesOverview of Position:
Provides training for designated area(s), including end-user training, training materials and curriculum development, documentation and tracking. Will work closely with and provide some direction and advice on activities to IT Education Consultants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Creates and provides training for smart phrases, smart texts, and physician documentation templates.
2. Develops, supports and maintains training curriculum and materials.
3. Builds training environments for designated module(s).
4. Conducts general overviews of the system in front of various levels of the organization.
5. Participates in workflow validation sessions as well as build for designated module(s).
6. Coordinates and modifies appropriate level of training for each user.
7. Trains super-users as needed.
8. Assists with scenario based training.
9. Develops training strategy and continuing education plan.
10. Conducts Epic demonstrations during pilots, dress rehearsals.
11. Develops tip sheets for users.
12. Ensures deliverables are approved by the appropriate users and are completed in accordance with the plan.
13. Works with Project Manager to establish and enforce work assignments.
14. Escalates issues immediately to manager that cannot be resolved by the assigned work group.
15. May perform end-user training.
16. Participates in the development of Policies and Procedures for area(s) of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. BSN and current Ohio RN License .
2. Must have epic implementation experience with some prior training or certification in epic.
3. Knowledge of work flows and clinical processes within a physician practice setting.
4. Ability to work in a matrix reporting relationship.
5. Strong organizational skills with ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously, with strong attention to detail
6. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
7. Experience with presentation software tools and multi-media training modalities. Ability to comfortably present information in front of large groups.
8. Comfortable interacting with various levels of leadership.
9. Knowledge of basic workstation functionality and ability to troubleshoot basic workstation issues.

3. Promotes Patient and Employee Safety
