Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Become familiar with aspects of wound care center operations relevant to supporting patient care through the WoundQ program by attending internal meetings and understanding program metrics.
Completes clerical duties including answering phones, taking messages, responding to emails, communicating information back to partner/vendor, and collaborating with fellow team members
Promote and track quality efficiencies through proactive center care team engagement including but not limited to: order placement, training, and service barriers as needed
Organize center feedback regarding barriers within the Center including competitors and internal workflow challenges for program consultant’s review
Utilize reporting and trends to determine opportunities to enhance patient care with assigned program consultant
Become champions of new value-add WoundQ service programs including but not limited to advanced wound dressing (AWD), negative pressure therapy wound therapy (NPWT) , Cellular Tissue Products (CTP) and Lymphedema (Lympha) service lines by utilizing existing programs to full potential in compliance with Healogics reimbursement advice policies
Collaborates with national providers to ensure product solution efficiencies for center staff and patients is upheld with urgency
Performs other duties as required
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting
Administration processes understanding preferred but not required
DME experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Comfortable in collaborating with healthcare professionals
Strong organizational and office technology skills
Knowledge of HIPPA and client confidentiality laws
Working knowledge of DME preferred but not required
Proficient in information management programs and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Be engaged in a compliant manner, including adherence to the Healogics Code of Conduct and Ethics and Vendor Code of Conduct
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Strong level of confidentiality due to sensitivity of materials and information handled.
Ability to work independently and be self-directed and flexible
Ability to prioritize
Ability to perform functions with minimal supervision
Ability to work at a high-volume level of accuracy
