The Director M&A leads inorganic strategy development at Brenntag and leads front to end acquisition and portfolio optimization projects in close collaboration with our business and functional leaders. Activities include target assessment, valuation discussions, leading internal and external M&A processes and building the bridge to the integration activities.
As Director you will translate Brenntag’s business strategy into M&A priorities to support growth, in close cooperation with our divisions, our global strategy teams and other relevant functions. Moreover, you will be leading entire M&A processes. Externally you will be negotiating with sellers and their advisors throughout NDA, NBO, due diligence and signing/closing phases. Internally, you will manage target assessment, due diligence and approval processes with our board and supervisory board. As owner of M&A projects you will also regularly report on their progress and be involved in the preparation of integrations plans post-closing.
The successful individual will work closely with the divisions in our regions, our corporate leaderships as well as our different HQ functional departments.
