In today’s fast-paced business environment, the cleanliness and maintenance of environmental facilities are not just about making a good first impression; they are fundamental to the health, safety, and productivity of those who work within and visit these spaces. Within MasterCorp Commercial Services (MCS), the Environmental Services (EVS) Director provides the leadership, direction, and management for these facilities, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance, and appearance for the patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires effective communication, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develops solid working relationships with employees, peers, client, and key stakeholders.
Develops, plans, and oversees all EVS functions for multiple clients in compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards (DEC, TJC, OSHA, health department, etc.).
Prepares and manages operating budgets & expenses, including, but not limited to, labor, supplies, equipment, consumables, and all other MCS/client required budgets.
Oversees weekly staffing needs and schedules; provides feedback on a day-to-day basis to ensure compliance with staffing guidelines and budgeted labor hours.
Ensures compliance with new hire onboarding process and supports on-going operational training by MasterCorp and client regulatory standards.
Ensures that managers, supervisors, and leads are compliant with all quality assurance training, and inspection requirements.
Conduct routine site inspections of facilities, oversee survey readiness, prepare reports as needed and implement and integrate Orange QC quality measures with 100% compliance.
Oversee operations of accounts, i.e., quality control, labor pool, and managing employees to ensure they are following contractual obligations.
Responsible for partnering with Human Resource Business Partners to manage HR duties, including staffing to target needs, hiring and onboarding compliance(E-Verify), training & development, coaching and counselling, injury reporting, as well as payroll management and reporting.
Responsible for ensuring completion of floor care and/or assisting floor technicians in completion of contractual obligations.
Participate in healthcare site specific regulatory committees, such as Safety, Environment of care, Infection control, and Quality improvement.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Certified Health Care Environmental Services Professionals (CHESP) – preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize or delegate as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.)
This role requires flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, with some evening and weekend availability.
The Director of Environmental Services is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
