POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians performing service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, heating and cooling, boilers, interior finishes, and appliance servicing while maintaining a safe and friendly environment. This position will also be responsible for leading the biomedical department overseeing the service and repairs of medical equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Leads a team of environment in a primary response role to complete maintenance/biomedical inspections, repairs, and preparation of client’s property.
- Track, analyze and lead implementation of a preventative maintenance program throughout a client’s property.
- Act as a liaison for clients and associates in the resolution of maintenance concerns, complaints, and questions.
- Use of Microsoft office programs to build out reports.
- Participate with call rotation with the other maintenance technicians.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare preferred.
- Up to 3 years’ experience in repair, maintenance, technical role
- Greater than 3 years in a leadership role within a facilities maintenance organization is preferred.
- Proficient skills in painting, tile, plumbing, carpentry, hvac, boilers, and electrical
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of Biomedical/Electronics equipment preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must meet the requirements to receive a company driving permit (Age 21 or older, Acceptable driving record, Valid State Issued Driver’s License, and Acceptable Drug Screen Results)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a budget as well as scheduling labor.
- Proficient with technology, specifically in Microsoft office programs.
- Previous experience using work order systems.
The Lead Maintenance Tech is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
