Are you a visionary technical leader with a passion for transforming healthcare? Do you have a proven track record of deploying cutting-edge AI/ML systems into complex clinical environments and engaging with C-suite executives?

Centific is seeking a Field CTO for Healthcare AI to serve as our senior-most technical expert and strategist in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. You will be the bridge between our state-of-the-art research in Vision AI, VLMs, and Embodied Intelligence and the real-world needs of leading hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and med-tech innovators. You'll partner with our clients to architect solutions that drive tangible clinical and financial outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical advisor and strategist for our most critical healthcare partners. You'll lead technical discovery, build trusted relationships with client-side CTOs and VPs, and design solutions that align Centific’s platform with their strategic goals.
• Solution Architecture & Vision: Design and architect end-to-end solutions that integrate our core Vision AI, VLM, and Physical AI platforms into client ecosystems. This includes working with clinical data modalities (EHR, DICOM, FHIR) and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant deployments.
• Clinical & Regulatory Acumen: Translate complex regulatory and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA pathways) into technical specifications and architectural patterns. Guide both clients and internal teams on building compliant, trustworthy, and safe AI systems.
• Product & Research Feedback Loop: Act as the crucial bridge between the field and our internal research and product teams. You will distill client needs and market trends into actionable insights that directly influence our product roadmap and research priorities.
• Executive Engagement & Evangelism: Engage with C-suite executives at partner organizations to articulate the technical vision, demonstrate the ROI of our AI solutions, and establish Centific as a thought leader in the healthcare AI space through whitepapers, conference presentations, and executive briefings.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles (e.g., Principal Engineer, Solutions Architect, Product Leader) with a focus on AI/ML applications
• Deep domain expertise in the healthcare, life sciences, or biotech sectors, with proven experience working with clinical data types (EHR, imaging, genomics) and standards (FHIR).
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role, with exceptional communication and presentation skills capable of engaging both deeply technical and senior executive audiences.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Generative AI (LLMs), Computer Vision, and modern ML systems.
• An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• An MD, PharmD, or Ph.D. in a clinical or biological field, paired with a strong technical background.
• An MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy and product management.
• Proven experience leading B2B SaaS product strategy in the healthcare space, particularly with startups that have achieved successful growth or exits.
• Experience taking AI/ML-driven medical products through regulatory approval pathways (e.g., FDA).
• Hands-on familiarity with the modern AI/ML stack, including PyTorch, Kubernetes, Ray, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• A record of publications in top-tier AI or clinical informatics venues and/or significant open-source contributions.

• Architecting and overseeing the successful deployment of Centific's platform into multiple enterprise healthcare systems, resulting in measurable improvements to clinical efficiency, diagnostic accuracy, or patient outcomes.
• Becoming a trusted advisor to our key partners, leading to expanded engagements and new product collaborations.
• Directly influencing the product roadmap with field-driven insights that become core features of our platform.
• Establishing a clear ROI model that results in significant new enterprise adoption and revenue growth.
