This position is responsible for greeting guests, assisting guests with purchases by providing product information, ringing sales, taking and preparing food and beverage orders and providing an exceptional experience.

We are currently looking for a:

 

Story Land - Bartender

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

• Greet guests
• Communicate knowledge of product
• Operate a point of sale system accurately and efficiently
• Set up and breakdown of workstation
• Keep work space clean and organized
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels at workstation
• Restock product as needed; change kegs when necessary
• Take food and beverage orders
• Prepare and serve orders, mix cocktails and serve beer and wine
• Be friendly and focused on guest experience; provide conversation to patrons
• Receive training in the serving of alcohol immediately upon starting employment.
• Abide by alcohol service standards set forth by NH State Liquor Commission
  • Recognize signs of intoxication
  • Report the presence of an intoxicated guest to the manager on duty
  • Preserve a positive relationship with our guests in a potentially negative situation
• Acknowledge that when necessary, the company will impose stricter policies than the law requires regarding the service of alcohol. These policies must be abided by.
• Assist with receiving trucks and deliveries when needed
• Be willing to work as part of a team

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Punctual, reliable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to be productive during slow periods
• Able to lift light loads (25 lbs.), stand for long periods (5+ hrs.), bend/squat, reach and climb/descend stairs
• Able to follow direction and communicate relevant information
• Able to positively engage with guests to promote sales and take food and beverage orders
• Able to maintain hygiene and personal appearance consistent with policies outlined in the Team Member Handbook
• Able to follow daily tasks as outlined in the food and beverage standard training operating procedures
• Desire to have fun while creating a memorable experience
