We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Technician to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time while supporting various accounting functions and team initiatives.

Accounts Payable Technician
📍 Mt. Crawford, VA (Main Office)
🕒 Full-Time | Weekdays

What You’ll Do

• Process and verify incoming invoices

• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams

• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain records

• Manage invoices on hold and lien waiver documentation

• Respond to vendor and purchasing inquiries

• Support audits and assist with accounting system issues

• Provide backup support across the accounting department

• Assist with office supply purchasing and daily mail processing

What You Need

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–5 years of accounting experience

• Strong data entry and analytical skills

• Knowledge of accounting processes and principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
