We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems and related infrastructure on a variety of projects. This position involves operating heavy machinery (excavators, track hoes, skid steers, backhoes) to perform trenching, grading, and material handling in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on diverse projects.
Operate Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
Perform work with hand tools as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of operating experience of large Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
Knowledge of Ductbank installation.
Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments.
Ability to dig trenches by use of hand tools and equipment.
Must be able to pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Atlantic Electric conducts pre-employment, post-accident, and random testing.
Must have a valid driver's license.
