We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a full time, non-traveling position located in the Charleston, SC area. The Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Superintendent will play a crucial role in coordinating project activities, supervising personnel, and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site.
  • Manage project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the electrical construction industry with focus on commercial & industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and cost control methods.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
