Program Overview
DynaTen’s High School Internship Program is a hands-on, field-based experience designed to introduce students to careers in the construction and mechanical trades. Interns will gain real-world exposure to plumbing, sheet metal, and pipefitting while working alongside experienced professionals.

Program Goals
- Build foundational knowledge of the construction industry
- Develop safe work habits and trade skills
- Complete a structured 10-week rotation program
- Identify and prepare candidates for future employment opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily jobsite tasks
- Participate in safety meetings and training
- Learn and properly use hand tools
- Support installation of mechanical systems (duct, piping, plumbing)
- Maintain a daily log of work activities and lessons learned
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements
- Must be 17 years old by June 2, 2026
- Ability to work full-time (40+ hours/week)
- Reliable transportation to assigned job sites
- Availability for entire program (June 1 – August 7)
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification (required before start)
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work safely
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (varies by project)
Safety Expectations
- Zero tolerance for unsafe behavior
- No operation of power tools or equipment without authorization
- Strict adherence to all jobsite safety rules
- Daily mentorship and supervision
