Position Summary
Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking an HVAC Service Technician Helper to support our commercial service operations. This entry‑level role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the HVAC trade while working alongside experienced technicians in a safe, professional, and fast‑paced environment.
This position provides hands‑on training and exposure to commercial HVAC service work with a clear path for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist HVAC Service Technicians with commercial service, maintenance, and repair work
Help with jobsite setup, tool handling, materials staging, and cleanup
Support troubleshooting and basic diagnostic efforts under technician supervision
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Transport materials and assist with equipment handling as needed
Communicate effectively with technicians, supervisors, and customers
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on customer job sites
Required Qualifications
Interest in HVAC, mechanical systems, or skilled trades
Ability to work in commercial and industrial environments
Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work as part of a team
Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED preferred
